This Privacy Policy explains how D & B Creations Business Suite (“Business Suite,” “Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Software and its optional integrations, including QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
1. INFORMATION PROCESSED BY BUSINESS SUITE
Business Suite is business-management software that may process information entered by the user, including customer information, quotes, invoices, payments, work orders, products, materials, inventory, production information, and related business records.
The specific information processed depends on the features and integrations the user chooses to use.
2. LOCAL BUSINESS DATA
Business Suite stores its primary application data locally on the user's computer unless a feature or connected third-party service requires information to be transmitted to that service.
Users are responsible for securing their computers and maintaining appropriate backups of their business data.
3. QUICKBOOKS ONLINE INTEGRATION
Connecting Business Suite to QuickBooks Online is optional and requires the user's authorization.
When a user connects QuickBooks Online, Business Suite may access, receive, and transmit QuickBooks data necessary to provide the integration features selected by the user. This may include company information, customers, invoices, invoice balances, payments, transaction identifiers, and other information necessary to synchronize supported accounting records.
Business Suite uses QuickBooks information only to provide, maintain, and support the QuickBooks integration and related Business Suite functionality.
Business Suite does not sell QuickBooks data.
Users can disconnect their QuickBooks Online connection. Disconnecting prevents Business Suite from continuing to access QuickBooks through that authorization unless the user reconnects the service.
4. SHOPIFY INTEGRATION
Connecting Business Suite to Shopify is optional.
When a user connects Shopify, Business Suite may access store information necessary to provide enabled features, including order information, customer information associated with orders, product and variant information, quantities, pricing, fulfillment information, and customer-provided order attributes or artwork links when available.
This information is used to provide Business Suite features such as order review, customer matching, work-order creation, and production workflow management.
5. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information processed by Business Suite may be used to:
- Provide requested Business Suite features.
- Create and manage customers, quotes, invoices, payments, work orders, and production records.
- Import and manage supported Shopify orders.
- Synchronize supported invoices and payment information with QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain integration status and prevent duplicate imports or synchronization.
- Diagnose errors, maintain security, and support users.
- Improve the reliability and functionality of Business Suite.
6. DATA SHARING
D & B Creations does not sell personal information or business data processed through Business Suite.
Information may be transmitted to third-party services when the user intentionally enables an integration or feature requiring that service.
Those third-party services maintain their own privacy policies and terms.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of the Software, our users, or others.
7. CREDENTIALS AND AUTHORIZATION TOKENS
Business Suite may securely store credentials or authorization tokens necessary to maintain optional third-party integrations.
Sensitive credentials are not intended to be displayed after they have been securely stored.
Users should protect access to their computers and accounts and should not share passwords, client secrets, authorization tokens, or other sensitive credentials.
8. DATA RETENTION
Business records stored locally by Business Suite remain under the user's control and may remain on the user's computer until deleted by the user or removed through normal application or system maintenance.
Integration-related information may be retained as necessary to maintain synchronization history, prevent duplicate transactions, troubleshoot integration activity, and support the Software.
Third-party services may retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
9. DATA SECURITY
D & B Creations uses reasonable technical measures designed to protect information handled by Business Suite. However, no computer system, storage method, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate computer security, operating-system updates, account security, access controls, and backups.
10. USER CHOICES AND DATA CONTROL
Users may choose whether to connect supported third-party integrations such as QuickBooks Online and Shopify.
Users may disconnect integrations when they no longer wish Business Suite to access those services.
Users may contact D & B Creations for assistance regarding Business Suite data, integrations, or privacy questions.
11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Business Suite is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
D & B Creations may update this Privacy Policy when Business Suite features, integrations, security practices, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on the D & B Creations website with its effective date.
